Thank you Glenn Sather, you are well on your way to ruining what was once a real Stanley Cup threat. Congrats you have pushed out a fan favorite and a player the team desperately needed, all because of your ego. You have made bad signing after bad decision after bad signing, you are the Mike Millbury of free agency.

Avery wound up signing for a lousy $3.8M a year, you gave Michael Rozsival $5M a year. Tell me without smirking whose more important and more valuable to the team? That’s right you cant, your personal bullshit with Avery is the only reason you wouldn’t add the $500K.

I can’t say I blame Avery, the situation really was not his fault. He knew what his value was and between the arbitration hearing last summer and Sather’s unwillingness to offer him a fair offer, he only had one choice. It was clear to him that Sather did not want him back, even though the rest of the Rangers Faithful did.
